Stigma-Free Speakers Training Workshop Application

  • Coast Mental Health Peer Support Workers are a priority for the Stigma-Free Speakers Training. You will be put on a wait list and contacted by October 5th if you are approved to attend.
  • Prescreening Required

  • Attending both dates is mandatory for participants for the speakers’ workshop except for special circumstances. Please email info@stigmafreezone.com to discuss your situation.
  • There are two events for the Stigma-Free Speakers Training, which include the following:

    1. Stigma-Free Speakers Training 'Meet and Greet' Luncheon

    The Society will offer a 'Meet and Greet' luncheon prior to the Stigma-Free Speakers Training workshop, which is meant to provide personal connections with registrants with a series of ice-breakers and introductions.

    Date: March 24th, 2018, Saturday @ 12pm - 1:30 pm
    Location: Social Crust Café (formerly Café 335) 335 West Pender Street, Vancouver

    2. Stigma-Free Speakers Training Workshop

    Date: March 25th, 2018, Sunday @ 9:30am – 3:30 pm
    Location: Pacific Coast Apartments, 337 West Pender Street, Vancouver
    *Note: Please meet in the lobby of the Pacific Coast Apartments at 9:20am and sign in at the front desk.

  • This luncheon is mandatory for participants for the speakers’ workshop except for special circumstances. Please email info@stigmafreezone.com to discuss your situation.
