It takes a lot of work to live a Stigma-Free life, so we need to anticipate that many, if not all people, will not be successful on the first day of taking their Stigma-Free pledge. We are all raised within different cultures and learn stigmatizing attitudes from our parents, peers and community.
It is understandable that many of you may already possess stigmatized perceptions, but there is still great hope that all people are able to empower themselves. We encourage you to create and sustain Stigma-Free environments that instill awareness, understanding and acceptance, by taking ACTION for the entirety of your lives.
