Arts Umbrella – Vancouver, B.C.

Arts Umbrella is a not-for-profit arts education centre for children and youth ages 2 to 19. This amazing organization will be moving into the South Building of the former Emily Carr University of Art + Design campus on Granville Island, B.C. The goal is to make the new building a Stigma-Free Zone, and roll out the Stigma-Free Zone criteria in the organization.

Arts Umbrella is a very accepting and Stigma-Free organization and President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Paul Larocque, has expressed that, “Arts Umbrella is eager and willing to put in the work to become a Stigma-Free Zone.” Carol Henriquez, Founder of Arts Umbrella is a Stigma-Free Champion who supports the Stigma-Free Society by being a contributing Board Director.
